Community Futures
Sagehill

Sagehill is located in Bruno Saskatchewan and is in the business of supporting and encouraging small business. Established in 1986, Community Futures is a network of 13 independent development corporations located throughout Saskatchewan. Sagehill and its partners support economic development and diversification and build social, community, and entrepreneurial capacity, with an emphasis on long-range planning and results.

Newcomers Centre

The Humboldt Regional Newcomer Centre (HRNC) opened its doors to newcomers in April 2010 under the Government of Saskatchewan’s new settlement service delivery model for the Province, which is administered by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Employment and Immigration (AEEI). The HRNC contract is held by the Prairie Innovation Enterprise Region (PIER), an entity representing economic development interests including labour and immigration of east central Saskatchewan. We aim to promote settlement, integration and retention in workplaces and communities throughout our region.

Big Brothers
Big Sisters

For over 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has been championing the health and wellbeing of youth. We step in before it’s too late, to help prevent the physical and mental effects of adverse childhood experiences. We ensure children as young as 7 are supported by caring adults as they overcome these adversities, helping them to do better in life – physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and academically.

Our Intervention helps ensure children as young as 7 are supported by caring adults as they overcome these adversities, helping them to do better in life.

Established in 1973, Carlton Trail College combines in-depth, applied learning to provide post-secondary education and skills training, Adult Education, English Language Training and industry and workforce development to individuals, businesses and organizations across east-central Saskatchewan.

Communities

Safe Communities Humboldt & Area is a community driven, not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to eliminating injuries while promoting a culture of safety through the promotion of injury prevention programs and education. Our program coverage area includes a 50 km radius around the City of Humboldt, please see the map below for the communities we provide injury prevention programming to.
